{rtf(x)} showcases the exploration of multiple medias in creating distinctive "art effects" or "visual artifacts" which is defined as anomalies in visual representations.

The exhibition is to be held at Light Editions Gallery, SINGAPORE  and focuses on works by Malaysian artists; Haris Abadi, Abdul Latiff Padzali, Alkhuzairie Ali, Syafiq Ali'am and Abdul Azim as well as Singaporean artists; Shubigi Rao and Weixin Chong.

The exhibition presents three sub-themes i.e. Digital and time-based installation, technical creations and conceptual works.

The artists in this exhibition produce works that combines materials that are collected, reclaimed or discarded by others, which reveals anonymous but often highly personal – prevalent statements about life today.

They interpret the concept of the exhibition by looking at the meaning of "artifacts" as something that is contrasted to natural objects; they are paradoxically products of human actions. Thus, making it necessary for artifacts to have a maker or an author, in this context, the artists themselves.

The forms and materials used in this exhibition tells a story of the particular time and space that these artists are in. The works are multi-layered responses to the many issues facing the artists' in pursuing their contemporary art practice.
