“Monolog”
by Mohd Bakir Baharom @ Kat

Mohd Bakir Baharom @ Kat uses 'fumage' technique where sooty impressions are made by flame onto paper and canvas. The fragility and impermanence of smoke reflects the emotional subject of the work, which is Kat himself. Monolog reveals to audiences a moment of honesty by Kat as he progresses through life as an artist personally and professionally.

“End Game”
by Shaifuddin Mamat @ Poodien

End Game by Shaifuddin Mamat @ Poodien suggests a turning point in the artist's life. In this latest works, the artist shows a variety of inspirations that includes his own disconcertion with his environment. By using charcoal on canvas, End Game reflects on the 'black and white' of life that carries the 'grey' side of things and also life circumstances that constantly bombard counterarguments to the things one believes in.
